 Former Oklahoma House Speaker T.W. Shannon is scheduled to "announce his candidacy in the Special Election for U.S. Senate" at 1pm today at the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City, according to a media release issued by his campaign. Shannon served in the State House from 2006 to 2014, serving one year as Speaker before jumping into the special election to replace retiring U.S. Sen.
